The Day Before Sandy

29 Oct

I am from the Northeastern part of the United States.  We do not get hurricanes.  This year is the exception.  October 29-30 we will receive a storm so massive and so damaging that all businesses have been closed.

Be still and know that I am God.

On Sunday, I woke up with a feeling of dread.  The birds are gone, my porch furniture put away, and the horses tucked neatly in the barns.  I walked the property praying over every inch that God would be merciful.  Then he showed me a sign, a rainbow.  Is God awesome or what?

God is amazing he will protect us and all our animals. We are getting the storm now and it is scary with the wind gusts. I hope our chickens in their run survive. All we can do is pray. I have prayed over our land also and all of our family, neighbors, and friend. Prayers with you and ours also. God bless 🙂
